Theoretically this is true, but in reality there are some people who are trying to  impolitely compel Chinese players to use English, and even though his comments have been hidden, he is still making bad moves behind the scenes.

In that post I also recommended posting in English first with the original language as well, because it allows the reader to use different translation software if there is difficulty understanding the original translation. 

It was written that players in China can come to the Klei Forums for support, because it's the best way to make sure that the most people on the team see it. We have always recommended that all players come to these forums rather than the myriad of other platforms available so we can gather as much feedback in a single place as possible. 

That doesn't mean that any other platform will not be seen, only that the most people will see it here.

在我看来这个回复有些不够，你可以看到我下面还是有人坚持对温蒂玩家的偏见，Klei在这个问题上的模棱两可已经造成了玩家群体的分裂，这需要一个明确的答复来证明他们并不是有意助长这种分裂。

i said that because people replie to me in chiniese wich i cannot understand, if i suddenly started to talk in a language neither english or chiniese to you, would you be happy with me trying to talk to you in something you cannot even understand?

if anything you are trying to to use things in bad faith only or so it seems at least to me

Oh,save it, I have been there and I know what you want.Tell me why do we have to suffer from this ? Klei confirmed us we can use Chinese HERE, why are some of you still trying to force us to use English? I am willing to use English if the rules of this forum which said we must use English get explicitly informed to all Chinese players.But it doesn't mean I will endure malice.

My statement isn’t mean.  
And none of you are suffering due to being ignored in silence.  Wendy’s skill tree has gotten more attention and care than all of the previous skill trees combined, and is the most polished one in the game at this point.  It is time for them to move on and show the same care for the other two characters in this update who have been totally ignored, and in the rest of the game in general.  Your feedback wasn’t ignored, as shown by the link I added earlier showing all of the feedback from the forum from all nationalities of people that was listened to and added.  You are just upset because the skill tree doesn’t fully match your specific vision, and instead matches a blend of everyone’s vision like it should.  
I don’t continuously attack people when an update doesn’t fully match my suggestions, because I understand that multiple people play this game and suggest updates and that the developers have their own vision.

I also don’t know why you keep bringing up the new year.  It is not relevant to the adjustments of a video game.

for comunications purpose, sure, you can talk chiniese to me...will i be able to understand it? no, not at all, so all i dit was saying that people would please use english to me if they want to say something to me, otherwise i might just asume you tried to insult me with something, would you be happy if all people suddenly started to talk in there native language to you, language you dont understand? so is it with me, i will not be happy if people try speakin to me in a language i cannot understand

The arrogance of some of you who don't know Chinese gamers but still pretend to know us well is the worst, and to this day there are still people who insist that Wendy is popular because she's a “traditional feminine”. I've tried to argue with these people, but all I get is a perfunctory “All right".Well,you know what? I think nothing is "right".

I use English all the time and support the use of English on the forum, but Klei is the source of all the language issues when he told Chinese players  on Bilibili that  you can post in Chinese in the forum.

For those who are clearly biased, I suggest simply ignoring them. The arrogance and ignorance of a minority are ingrained (I believe this is unrelated to nationality), and they attempt to provoke Chinese players further to create divisions and tarnish the image of Chinese players. I feel that the most rational and effective way to deal with such discriminatory remarks is to ignore them. In December last year, there were even people who openly expressed discrimination against Chinese people, but according to my observation, the accounts of such individuals have been banned by Klei.

I am indeed very angry. The changes to Lunar Abigail in the last update were almost completely contrary to the suggestions I made. The best way to deal with such issues is to showcase these low-level design mistakes as much as possible, and through practical testing and logical arguments, let more people know how poor and failed the current skill tree is. The game is still in the beta version, and there is still room for negotiation.

I didn't even make any "personal" comments, you know ? As a person who was born in the Year of Snake, I personally dislike Depth Worms, but all that is insignificant compared with the question of "Whether we can post in Chinese". I feel disrespect when arguing with someone who  know nothing about us while pretending to be an expert to us.

The expert thing I said is not you,I'm just saying that the language issue should be properly resolved immediately, otherwise it will cause more and more trouble

if what u want is a discussion engagement from other forum users, getting likes and replies, use english. i might be still trying to translate a title if im curious enough but with this many post traffic why making things harder to get u noticed?

You're on an English-speaking forum. That's why people expect that you will speak English. If I were to go on a Chinese-speaking forum, it would only be natural for people to expect me to speak Chinese (which I don't - that's why I'm here instead of there). It's not xenophobia, it's a language barrier, and it's one of the more difficult ones to overcome because of how different our languages are. That difficulty is not made any easier when people let themselves get overly angered by questionable design choices in a video game's beta and start insulting the developers every five minutes. Communication must be calm and reasonable to be productive.

 I think the best way to handle the issue is for the official Klei account on Bilibili to change "Supports Chinese" to "Recommends using English." This can avoid a lot of problems and prevent language issues from turning into conflicts within the player community.

我觉得最好的处理问题的方式是让bilibili平台上的Klei官方将“支持中文”改为“推荐使用英文”。这样能避免相当多的问题，也可以避免将语言问题转化为玩家社区内的矛盾。

Actually Chinese (Mandarin) is the language with the largest number of speakers in the world. I mean it's not similar with those less-known languages, even not like Russian nor Japanese.

So it's never weird that Chinese is also the most used language.

Hello Mima, I remember that I saw you before,the thing is ,if using Chinese means less discussion and less attraction,why didn't Klei tell us? Why couldn't they equip the forum with a translator?There are many solutions for this issue,leaving it behind and letting it enlarge the arguments between different groups of players is nothing helpful isn't it? Also,it has caused lots of trouble to all of us.While Klei confirmed us we could post in Chinese,other players might find it  not appropriate,I'd like to say that some of them should mind their way of communication,too.

I really don't want to see players from different language groups arguing with each other. The essence of this issue is that Klei has not done a good job in internal communication, saying that it supports Chinese in the Chinese community, but saying that it recommends English on the forum. Since the forum recommends English, please do not say "supports Chinese" in the Chinese community. Please unify the language requirements, Klei. Thank you.

they support chinese. u can post in bug report forum in chinese. u can post here in chinese.  they probably read the post just like any other post. (i believe there once full chinse thread was posted but with malicious content get locked. so they read it and notice the post doesnt it) 


why do u believe ur post in chinese ignored by developers this hard? hmm?

because good suggestion isnt based on how many like or replies you get from one post.
there basically no use to have 10000 like from forum users.
if u have 0 likes but they like the idea it might pass the filnal stage.
if u have 10000 likes but they didnt think it fits the image of the game they have, it probably wont make it or it will be tweaked to fit as they see fit.
