Ewecus should have it's own herd instead of being a hunt

Recommended Posts

Give it an alpha in the herd and put the herd somewhere to roam biomes or something. It could be a seasonal thing or an all time one. I think we need steel wool to be accessible in general cause it's too annoying to get either for a brush or the saddle.

Not sure about making it a herd or a natural spawn but maybe the Ewecus could have a higher chance of spawning during spring.

I really really hate biome specific hunts, goats were enough and feel not something I wanted cause of specific stupid reasons that is biome size.

Just more herd creatures to exist in general I think is cool to liven up some biomes.

I suggested just a seasonal spawn boost from hunts for ewecus not a biome specific hunt like volt goats.

not until you have 5 ewecuses snotting smack kick at you

It could act as a turn based type of herd attack tho. Each having a turn and cooldown and a check if there's a snot incoming or not and who takes that prio. If there's an alpha that we need to face and the rest would be supporting at best I think it would make some interesting gameplay.

After beating alpha shearing the rest would be a breeze as they don't have anyone to support and wouldn't fight back if not attacked.

absolutely not.

your saddle obsession seems to forget that a single ewecus is dangerous enough to get any random player automatically killed by just walking around.

Maybe the implications of this would be bad sure, but they could be controlled somehow..

Imagine if ewecuses could be found in a small island in the ocean, in a pack of 2 to 4. They would be far away as to not be seen by surface, but still in shallow waters to be bridged to. They would not be aggressive to the player if they're wearing a dapper vest. Shaving one could be possible at night, but not with a razor, rather a Golden razor.

To be able to cut the ewecus hair, cause it's tougher.

Look, the point is, the razor alone should be able to do that already. If the razor had durability and you can improve its efficiency by adding gold to it, then it's just whatever tier at best. But it doesn't. It's the only tool that had no durability. It can shave barnacles from sea weeds already.

Adding items for the sake of adding items would only serve to clog the crafting menu more and more, and left many items unused. I've yet to see people actually unironically make the stuffed nightcap thing (y'know, which was nearing a year old) because it was just that stupid.

I agree.

I like this idea, I think it could be smaller Ewecus-type creatures that wander slowly like beefalo and eat grass and twigs. They would be faster and tougher to fight than a Beefalo, and I think they'd give a bit more life to the world.
