horizon expandinator should let wortox soul hop farther

if he dropped warbis in pre-rift, and the crafts not costing a shard, it'd be fine.

It's not, the horizon expandinator is actually a very great item that does NOT need a buff. It last for almost a season and it greatly increases ocean exploration and it's great in the caves as wx. The item is very great imo.

Horizon expandinator is really great ib the ocean (not in lights out worlds, however). But caves... You should kill Nightmare Werepig first, so you already was in caves and explored the ruins at least for pickaxe, so why do you need it in caves now?

also, the expandinator just does not increase map reveal range either, so i have no desire to use it over a tamoshanter or anything else.

It is not the best head slot for caves nor the best one for the surface, but it is undeniable that the increased visibility anywhere in the world -lasting for almost a whole season- can make the game feel way better in terms of progression.

Say you just use that zoom+ mod (I consider it a cheat), you might not find it actually useful. But for someone who has never even experienced that mod, using the Horizon Expandinator made me realise how fun and awesome this feature is. And they made it a boss drop too, for a boss that's kinda hard to master and is most of the time mistaken by a boss with "bad hitboxes", "worst boss in the game" or "just a copy re-designed from the caves" when in reality he's actually just punishing you for trying to tank/kite him like a hound; he will basically kill you even with high end gear if you don't know how to kite and dodge him, but can be killed without a movespeed bonus and a simple hambat on a 1x dmg character. It just shows how it can be easily done with knowledge, but it's very hard if you have no idea how to kite him. It's similar to fuelweaver in a sense. Very well designed boss imo, and fun too. And that drop is also fun and just perfectly useful where it stands.

The boss is hard, the drop shows an unseen world around you with a whole bunch of small features attached to it.

It's not that the item is bad because it only does 1 thing, but the thing that the item does is what's strong about it; because it gives the player a whole lot of other small bonuses.

The more you use it, the more you realise it's niche upsides.

I am not against making Wortox teleport further though, I actually think that should be the case.

The thing is... we already have a mod for that since this feature was expected for a very long time ago and was implemented just recently
