W.A.R.B.I.S. Armour Set Gripes & Suggestion

Has anyone found any consistently useful applications for the WARBIS gear? Particularly the helmet? For how late game they are I find them to be underpowered. Maybe they could synergise well with Wolfgang or Wanda but if I’m remembering correctly, the helmet only buffs physical damage. This puts it behind the Brightshade Helm/Void Cowl as planar damage is highly coveted late game. The only non-aligned planar weapon I know of is the Charged Elding Spear, but the Enlightened Crown is almost always better for Wigfrid.

I do hope that the WARBIS gear gets buffed, maybe a completed set bonus and the helmet boosting planar damage in some way. I also hope that in their eventual skill tree, WX-78 gets some extra perks wearing it.

in the recent beta builds, it's a decent side-grade for walter's slingshot, it's not an upgrade over enlightened crown + thulecite suit combo. it's decent because walter got some buffs to his slingshot and ammo, particularly his range so that he can keep a good distance while maintaining the buff.

but the latest beta build kinda threw it out of the window. now, void cowl boosts shadow aligned ammo, making it the same tier as enlightened crown, and warbis helm got pushed down a tier(s).

it's absolutely baffling how terrible warbis gear is. it's not like klei is afraid of giving the player too much power, since the alignment gear are infinitely better. klei is just terrible at balancing and understanding combat i guess. i mean the warbis gear is post-celestial champ, and needing an ENGLIGHTENED SHARD just to craft, that's craaazy.

Make scrappy drop their blueprints no matter the rifts, and change the recipe shard with all those wires from the ruins.

I tried it with walt and wig a while ago thinking i was gonna be the guy who figured it out, and be smarter than everyone. Not great!

It's junk armor from junkyard so it makes sense for it to be junk XDD

but hey I came up with few uses that make at least a lil bit sense, but use those as fun facts NOT actual strategy:
-Increase efficiency for blowdarts with wagpunk helmet (you get a free dart every 5th shot damage wise after charging up)
-Wagpunk armor can be genuinely nice for third phase of celestial and toadstool
and... that's it I'm afraid

It's truly shame that armor that requires a victory lap on the final boss is so disappointing
