  1. 1. Which aspect do you think is the most powerful part of Wendy? (Multi choice)

    • Her DPS from Vex + bafeelo combo (this is rely on Vex but this option means that you think her DPS without bafeelo is ok)
    • Her DPS from Vex (especially from Shadow Abi)
    • Her free AOE from Abi
    • Her free tankier from Abi.
    • Powerful or not is not important, I just love her.
  2. 2. If we have to adjust 1 thing for balance sake, to nerf which part is the most acceptable for you? (Single choice)

    • DPS from Vex + Bafeelo combo
    • Dps from Vex of Shadow Abi
    • Vex itselfs (means that Bafeelo combo, Shadow Abi and general Abi would all get nerf)
    • Shadow Abi itselfs but keep planar damage as same. (means that both Vex of Shadow Abi and general DPS of Shadow Abi need nerf)
    • Survival of Abi - Player Tag
    • Survival of Abi - Cure-All
    • Death price of Abi - Ghastly Experience
    • None of them, I have other opinions for adjustment. (please leave your details)
    • None of them, they are all fine.
    • (Edited for additional option) Survival of Shadow Abi - to make her has extra damage taken.

I wanna start a survey here, since I have see there's many argument about Wendy, and some of them is mainly focused on that "Wendy should get no more buff from skill tree" because of "Wendy was already strong enough".

These days, people who think "Wendy is good enough" is focusing on the "player tag" part which is far more important for average players. Though we all know how immortal the nurse spiders and wurts were.

I personally think "player tag" is an important things for many players which means that it should not rollback (remove), then there must have other compromise option to sacrifice for balance sake.

I gave some options here, for I want to know if to remove the "player tag" is necessary or not.

Hope we all have a good result for everyone's fun of DST. 

I think the design issues with Abigail's affinity skills are even more serious right now. However, the forums have recently been dominated by debates about the player tag... The transformation and AI of Lunar Abigail, as well as the triggers and values of Shadow Abigail, may both need optimization.

There's a potential logic about this phenomenon I have to say:

For those who are obsessed with a particular nerfing for Abi's survival, there's a logically reason to ignore how insane DPS of current Shadow Abi.

"Veterans" who mastered Abi management need no more any survival help of Abi, but the crazy damage from Shadow Abi does real benefit to these "Veterans". High Risk High Rewards means No Risk High Rewards for these veterans in fact.

It's just a simple selfish and gatekeeping logic.

I think most of the people that want the player tag lowered in power are the same people that want Shadow Abigail lowered in power, so I don't think it is just veterans trying to keep Shadow Abigail for themselves.  They are just posting about one thing at a time.  (Might be wrong, but that is at least true for me.)

I know your idea, I'm sorry if I was offended you. But due to the arguments from these days, I personally think not every one (who asked to nerf player tag) is same as you.

No worries, was just clarifying.  Definitely have noticed that you have been working hard at brainstorming ideas and actually trying to make the update something all players are happy with - keep doing your thing!

someone told that "player tag" makes the Abi become immortal so it destroyed their "High risk high rewards" fun of as Wendy. There's another balance method for them:

to make Shadow Abi takes extra damage (like 300%) than other Abi, to make Shadow Abi become lesser duration than regular one. then problem solved.

it would keep the immortal away and enhance the fun of "high risk high rewards" for them.

Yes, some people only think about nerf and can't see many problems in the skill tree. Maybe Wendy is not their main force.

 

My thoughts have not changed, character tags do not affect Abigail's probability of dying in daily play, and they also make him live longer in boss battles, and if any nerfting is to be done, I think it should start with damage or magic pills, not his defense
