Idea of additional uses for sisturn - to decorate it by dark petals

since we could decorate the sisturn by lunar petals after the newest patch (and the art would come in future)
I hope we could decorate it by using dark petal as well.

And, I hope we could mix those petals for decorating the sisturn. (such like to use 1 dark petal, 1 lunar petal and 2 normal petals to decorate the sisturn at the same time, and the art appearance of the sisturn would change into a particular state as well.)

I'm not sure what effect for dark petal sisturn, I personally prefer a change which buffing Wendy's QoL to her own Shadow creatures (won't work for ruins shadow), even that buff need to unsommon Abi as a cost. (Which hint that Wendy used Abi's spiritual power to help her against her own shadow. Abi have to stay in unsommon state to help Wendy in this way.)

And whatever the final effect, I do want to see more decoration possibilities of the sisturn. I want more art appearance. I'm a player who focusing and enjoying the base decorating.

 

Edited for more idea:

+ 5/min sanity aura per petal or lunar petal,

if all slots filled with them, +50/min sanity aura would be applied.

- 15/min sanity aura per dark petal,

if all slots filled with them, -200/min sanity aura would be applied.

This would give an option to let players get benifit from bee crown by sit close at a dark petal sisturn.

Not sure if this is a good idea or not. But I just want the sisturn have more possibility for decoration and fun.

I really really like this idea, I’m definitely a fan of decorating bases.

I don't care whether Wendy can beat the shadow monster.

I don't know... It's a good to have a countermeasure against Shadow creatures, but I can't agree that Abigail isn't included. I think Wendy's concept and the fun of playing are Abigail... I want Abigail to be there with Wendy.

My idea is:
Shabby = Buff of the traditional way.
Gestabby = Buff of the new way.
So I think it would be good for Dark Petals to have an effect that baff Abigail's shild when she takes damage. That way, I think it would create a strategy to choose Dark Petals against enemies that attack with a mass attacks, not with heavy a single attack, like hordes of mobs, Queen Bee, Shadow Bishop, Celestial Champion, and Possessed Varg. Or take the original idea of Steora, It also would be good make Abigail "somewhat (So it's not OP guys!)" able to deal with Shadow creatures.

There could be some effect if you put dark petal into sisturn, since the lunar flower has it's effect, but if there isn't, that's ok for me because shabby is strong enough now. The gestaut still seems a bit weaker that the shabby, i don't know if they will make adjustment, to strengthen the gestaut or to nerf the shabby?

maybe make the player tag only to gestalt and add another effect to shadow abi by filling sisturn with dark petal, idk, the two camp still unbalanced now

Yes i think so…… the player tag not only buffed gestalt but also buffed shadow abi, but i don't think the gestalt has more survivability than shadow abi, the hidden mode is stupid to me, and the only advantage gestalt has is, maybe the 1 hp lock……

They seem to believe that the hidden mode and 1hp lock are enough to enhance gestalt's survivability. But personally i find them kind of useless

Dark petals could give insanity aura of -25 per minute to sisturn (which mirrors regular petals) and have some range of protection against gestalts, just how dark sword and some other objects make gestalts turn away from them in small area. It would be useful during moonstorms and on lunar island if one decides to make a base here. With bee queen crown one could even use it as sanity station again.

Saying that no one can make suggestions on particular skills is very odd and a bit gatekeepy.  The skill tree is still in beta, and they are still very much looking for feedback.  Additionally, something not being changed early in beta does not mean it can't be changed later (especially since there is an entire month left now).  Changes to other skills also affect skills that already existed. For example, the change to allow Abigail getting the player tag has a very big affect on Shadow Abigail's power, and is an example of a reason to adjust her damage now that wasn't present in past patches.

Shadow Abigail damage reduction or redesign requests are definitely valid feedback.
