Please make Warly worth playing.

By definition of comparison to other players with and without skill trees now and before he had fallen into category of being there for the challenges swapping to someone else cause don't wanna waste time playing as him.

Precisely that justify not buffing him to the dumb level of the other characters

Klei should atleast leave some "challenge" characters since they are lowering that much the difficulty with the others

He should be buffed to a dumb level, but only after putting in the work.

Make him work like fine wine, make him start out fun and end up as the actual strongest character in the game, after setting up the right farms and using the right know-how and putting in the effort.

Make him so good at eating his own dishes his perks from them skyrocket beyond what anyone else is capable of.

Make the payoff for all the hard work you put in more than worth it, let him make the living artifact look on in fear as he destroys bosses easier than it does, as a reward for your effort.

Make none of this applicable if you don't play Warly for enough time.

Warly is a lot of work for not a lot of payoff that encourages sticking with him

crepes, bone bullion, potato souffle and moqueca while (usually) good in a vaccum take too much effort in comparison to the competition

i don't think ive seen a single person use either monster tartare or grim gallete

hot dragon chili salad is really expensive in comparison to the usual methods of keeping you warm and the same applies to asparagazpacho

glow berry mousse is probably useful for early ruins i guess but dropping your lantern has worked out for a decade i dont think its a game changer

fish cordon bleu is outdone by the umbralla but since thats an endgame item its pretty good overall and not too hard

volt goat jelly is also good outside of the goat roulette since honey is easy to get and amass

if i was gonna make the warly skilltree id have some skills like

whenever warly kills something he's more likely to get their unique drop (volt goats drop horns 50% of the time instead of 10% and whatnot)

affinity skill gives him a faction specific drink dish that doesnt do much for everyone else but makes all of warly's damage planar and gives him a speedboost so he can use volt jelly on brightshades etc

also skills that'd make him get more buffs from his dishes so while when wendy eats the fish cordon bleu she's immune to wetness but when warly eats it he's immune to wetness and makes whatever he hits wet

keep warly the prep time character but make that prep time a little faster and make the buffs a little stronger for him specifically so theres more reason to commit to him

I'd say make warly get 2 horns from each goat with a 100% chance due to the fact that if he is as accomplished a butcher as he says, he should have no problem killing them with the horns intact.

I use grim galette when I need living logs from a local wormwood, and it's good for CC healing. Not much else.

gallette is super good if you know what you are doing as a wormwood~

having warly get +1 on a roll for mob drops seems like a nice little thing to have

Let Warly be so good at butchering, he gets rare drops more often and just more everything from killing things.

Let him get a super good chance of the almighty krampus sack...

I think the Chef Pouch has a lot of potential. I really, REALLY want the ability to carry around my entire kitchen in a single inventory slot, so having it be like a maxwell top hat that only stores ingredients and cookware would be neat.
