Lunar Walter: let Walter merge with Woby + Wortox knabsack issues

Smaller idea first, then my big Walter idea

Wortox knabsack still has some issues:

1. Both right mouse button and spacebar do the multigrab. This is really annoying if you're picking up loot after a fight. You have to switch weapons or manually click to pick up single items, or you will take longer or even burn durability from picking up 2 nightmare fuel. Please make it no longer multiknab on spacebar.

2. Please give knabsack a second utility use. The nabsack is designed to become obsolete as a weapon in lategame, after you open rifts and use your ljnar or shadow alignment. It becomes a filler point to get soul jar, only used for the multinab. For this reason I would lkke it to have a second utility function, as I dont think Id use the nab much. Common suggestion is a bug net, Ive also seen a walking cane effect suggested.

My idea for Walter's lunar alignment, change it so he can merge with Woby:

Right now Walter's lunar alignment is yet another dps pebble for slingshot. I think it would be great if the alignment changed his playstyle.

With lunar it would be cool if walter and woby could jump into the moon dial on a full moon and merge into a new form: Wobalater

This wouls combine walters fearlessness with wobys being a dog. It could work a lot like walba from hamlet, with two forms based on eating monster meat, just like how woby worked.

Little Wobalater

Pretty like walter, like how webber is a boy and a spider. Except he can no longer use his slimgshot normally. If you try he will eat the slingshot for 3 hunger and say ***YUM*** (wobalater will talk in all caps)

Maybe he can eat other things too with alt right click.

Big Wobalater

If you eat 4 monster meat you turn into this form. A lot of walbas werepig form can be reused here, since it would save time and we dont have a walba style characternin dst yet.

Wobalater will get much taller and stronger looking and freak out and punch everything.

To make it different from walba I think it would be cool if wobalater got a perfect block mechanic like in the new monster hunter. Imagine deerclops is about to hit wobalater but he perfect blocks it with right mouse button. If you time it right, wobalater would grab deerclops hands and do a suplex move, smashing deerclops into the ground!

Thats it for my idea for now but Im thinkkng more about the eating mechanjc after I typed it too. Let me know what you think.

That doesnt seem fair because we have like 3 (4 if you count wendy) minion control characters. So 2 transforming characters should be fine, especially if one is a perk spec only

Maybe Wobalter would have been better, walby sounds weird to me

Those "minion control characters" aren't minion control characters. They are vastly different characters with way different gameplay that happen to have minions. You suggest Wobalter goes around punching stuff but that's literally exactly what weremoose form Woodie does except the block mechanic you mentioned. And for the small form you haven't suggested anything gameplay related so idk.

Walba the pig princess existed, and Woodie existed at same time. walba clawed and woodie at the time bit things, but still.

Wilba has other perks and she's a pig so her transformation makes sense. Walter already has too many perks that need to be improved upon, why add more bloat?

Woby turns into something when you feed her monster meat, so I think it makes equal sense. Im confused on the bloat part. The alternative seems to be giving him a lot of new ammo types that take a perk point each, many of which are dps rounds that step on each others toes. Like stinger rounds and moon glass rounds. That seems like bloat.

Webber was fine, Wendy was a bit weird, but Walter merging with Woby is absurd.

I thought the Wendy one was weirder than this one.

Those ammo types are an extension to his already existing slingshot skills. Not an entirely different new core ability that another character already has.

As part of a lunar alignment perk, like a werewolf thing

I dont think this is the only time a perk would something to a character, even adding an alternate playstyle .

Wigfrid got beefalo talents out of the blue, it was never part of her before perks.

Wolfgang got the coach whistle to let people turn him into a minion character.

Winona became a teleport character and got magical glasses

Willow became a fire wizard with a flamethrower and homing missiles
