Walter should get to fight from the back of woby.

Walter should just be allowed to swing a melee weapon while riding woby. this lets woby actually compete with beefalo without completely overshadowing it.

Honestly with the bravery and support skills, it makes the most sense. give walter the ability to actually make use of the bravery and support skills properly and let him attack from wobyback.

Walter already fights with woby a lot with his slingshot, maybe he could have a slower swing speed to balance it out or something. Honestly I don't see why walter shouldn't get to properly fight with his pal woby.

I don’t think letting Walter use Woby for Melee combat fits the Slingshot character though??

What would probably more accurately fit Walter would be to, out of his many different Ammo types… *yawn* give the poor guy something a whole bunch of FPS or MOBA battle games have.

Aka: a “Marked for Death” buff.

This is Technically what Klei already did with Wendy’s petal Bestowment (although that one is mostly an AFK Simulator)

For Walter though… it would be more like (insert any other game that uses this feature) you mark a target, identify its weakness other players attack for nice damage buff.

If you still want Woby to be helpful for this Walter can get an enemy close to death (like one or two hits away from it) Mark for death and have Woby charge at them to finish them off (classic dog in Farcry/Fallout/CoD games)

But just being able to turn Walter into a Beefalo melee character kinda defeats the point of his ranged combat playstyle?

Id even go so far as to REMOVE Walters ability to tame a normal Beefalo making a comment like “It’d make Woby too Jealous”

But that’s just my opinion..

walter actually already has this, it's one of his lunar alignment rounds, it makes hits do extra planar damage

This shall now be referred to as marked for planar

He should gain a damage buff on the slingshot while riding Woby, I think that makes the most sense, Woby isnt supposed to attack since shes cowardly and all that ****. Walter's design is intended in like, he is the one that attacks using the slingshot while using Woby as a way to put the distance

Aw that sucks that it’s locked to End Game… it probably would’ve made Walter more fun to play Early Game for people who refuse to play him or just don’t like him enough to stick to playing as him.

And when you compare him to Wendy.. he probably really should have something that’s as early game as her petal buff.. that’s not locked to End Game.

Maybe make the enemy shows its weakness mark that Walter must shoot in a certain direction to pop it, so you have the intention to move around with Woby.

Similar to Fiora in League of Legends.
