For example, they should not have the debuffs of eye irritation or popped eardrums, greater resistance to chilly and toasty surrounds, greater radiation resistance and resistance to high temperatures (200C limit resistance). I don't think they should be 100% resistant but rather that I can go further with them before needing the atmo suits like with normal duplicants and that I can explore different regions with different duplicants. That way we could customize bionics further for specific task in hot/cold/overpressure environment but at the cost of crafting and and equipping booster.
