There is little benefit to creating additional Graves

I really like the skills and don’t think they should be removed. I like the idea about having them be like Warly’s crockpot, so other players could remove graves that were in bad locations. That and having graves be heavy would fix basically all griefing potential.

Yeah, do that but compromise and merge the tier 2 and 3 versions, and its good i think.

Prolly adding a new tier 3 skill too

Everything has griefing potential, It's a cool skill that's useful for Wendy to have more dark petals spawners and pipspook spawn. Without having to base near a graveyard.

Also, greifers don't usually have the greatest skill or attention span in my experience, so I doubt any of them would make it to the FW arena, let alone even go there at all. They're there for a quick "teehee, I ruined it :D" then leave.

So cool. I don't look often but theres a lot of ingenuity to see from bilibili community.

More modern bee queen ovens are more popular over there too. And I think the sail+flingomatic permafreeze trick started there too, but not sure.

Another reason of  Wendy chaos these days is Klei never responds it. There are lots of passionate fans there, who produce thousands of feedbacks monthly, way more than forum(I guess, not sure, same amount at least), but no developer cares, it makes us down, Wendy is just the trigger.

Ignore it if you don't like these words, I just want to say it out.

I don't think the devs post in outside forums much, to be fair.

Because there's a cap of 1 pipspook spawning a day and 4 graves being decorated at a time.

You can gather around a dozen graves at least naturally generated in a world, which is enough fro both of those applications.

 

 

To be clear, Grave Beautification & Relocation are fine in terms of application, but not particularly Graves by Wendy.

That's a fair point, but the way I was thinking was that with rollback something immediately noticsable like setting fire to base  could be reverted. While setting graves in base/ancient gateway isn't immediately apparent why it's a problem, and could exist past the point of rollback.

Well, while I'm stuck into the subway, I'll to speak my mind. 

First, after read all the post, I start to considering that every character should be able to build a gravestone (even relocate), since the materials to craft it are commoun. But, it is true that Wendy is more sensible to death than other characters. And, sincerily speaking, I was not aware about the griefing aplications of both skills in combination.

For that reason, I'm one of those who believe this to skills should merge. And adding a special material which only Wendy can farm could be the key: mourning glories. I mean, what do you need for a burial? At least, a gravestone, a hole, of course a dead body (or bones), flowers and mourning.

Now, what are the utility of gravestone? For Wendy is clear, plus: to find trinkets (once) and to have a werepig farm.

But, here's my dilema, should be wendy the only one to have an easy way to get that farm? (It is according to her personality?)

Maybe I'm being to radical, but graves, tombstones and the graveyard must be not disturbed. Specially for Wendy.

Concluding, gravestones by wendy could be rework by giving a skeleton a phostumous burial to mining a mourning glory instead a bone shards, and dont place a tombstone (preventing griefing situations).

Finally, for me, tha fourth skill related to graves, is a new way able for resurrection in the way that only Wendy dabbles.

Base grief is discovered early on when someone returns to the base, specifically when still could rollback.

AFW arena grief, at its worst, after completes the Marble Sculptures, defeats the Shadow Pieces, collects fossils, defeats the Ancient Guardian, gathers gear for AFW, finds and kills the Tentapillars bound for the Atrium, traverses the Atrium, and is discovered.
