I rarely use potions as Wendy. I use them possibly only when potions first introduced or there are potions ingredient lying on ground. But her new skill tree use half of it's part enhance potions. I dont know what will klei do for her next update, but this is her current beta skill tree:

11 out of her 22 skill is about potions, with graves digger line are for more pipspooks, and pipspooks are for more mourning glory. As of right now, mourning glory's only use is to craft potions.
