Gashzer Posted November 22, 2024 Share Posted November 22, 2024 Thought these buffs deserve their own thread. Right now Woby skills are pretty decent once maxed out. Training timing and amount of grind needed to max out needs reduced a tad and they just need that last wee unique effect when maxed to be worth it to hold on to woby into the late game. Agility maxed out allows walter to pick up/interact with items at regular speed while mounted on big woby. Bravery maxed also provided a passive lets say 60% protection and 10 planar defence it would be worth it.This would make it that while riding woby and wearing armour. Damage gets split between Walters armour and wobys infinite armour saving on Walter's armour durability. Support maxed gave Walter a passive 6.6 sanity gain per minute it would be good. Fetch needs to be more interactive - more clarity on how it functions. Dig timing needs adjusting - more clarity on how it functions. Edit: these would be buffs to the tier 2 skills for each! It might be easier if it was any item in her inventory slot than its own slot, for example if you are farming spiders you could put both silk, glands and meat in. My original thought to giving passive infinite armour to woby is that you could stack 2 clothing equipments head/body while riding and still have a minimum level of defence to prevent you from bucking. 60% armour with 33 bucking damage allows you to take one terrorbeak hit without Walter wearing armour. 1 minute ago, Mysterious box said: What are the stats for the maxed out trainings currently? So hopefully Klei come up with some creative unique abilities for Big Woby. Gonna throw some more basic mini buffs out there for brainstorming: Digging badge 1 should allow big woby to uncover suspicious dirtpiles while Walter is mounted. Bravery badge 2 maxed: When Walter dies. He doesn't actually die but instead big woby runs over to pick Walter up then runs away from the threat then Walter recovers (revives) on top of big woby and you gain control back. You lose 50% max hp when revived this way, hp returns to "full", hunger remains same as before death and you gain additional 75 sanity on top of what you had left. Big woby can only do when your max hp is above 50% or you die for real. Support badge 2 maxed: big/small woby can hold 6 more inventory slots. I feel like this badge is the weakest of the 3 big woby badges, needs greater utility. Agility badge 2 maxed: big woby can leap over gaps (someone elses idea i forget my bad) Pretty much anywhere you can place a winona bridge, woby can just leap over it quickly instead. Fetch badge 2 maxed: small woby gains additional inventory slot to act as a resource tracker like wheelers compass but instead of an arrow, small woby runs toward the item if it exists in the world and you need to follow her. Doesn't run towards item if its stored in a chest or backpack or any player storage. Klei give us back 6 badge slots. Make it so tier 1 badges can only half train tier 2 badges meaning people need to use tier 2 badges to max out training. Then give tier 2 badges a unique effect when maxed to justify all the hard work.
