Amd ryzen 5 pro 2400g will it run?

Recommended Posts

I'm using a Ryzen 5500U laptop, which according to this site CPU benchmark should be a bit better than yours. I can run DST at 60+ FPS just fine, with high graphic settings. The only problem that I have is 30-40 FPS when I'm BOTH under a canopy and it's winter, and/or is snowing. Those three things really tank your FPS. So yeah, I think you'll be fine (maybe disable canopy shadow in the settings, and use the mod that disable snow tiles in winter). Make sure to launch the 64-bit version of DST if your device is also 64-bit (which most modern devices should be).

Yeah your pc is more than capable of running the game with 60+ fps and if you have any fps drops use the performance enhancing mods my friend mentioned above ,you can find plenty more mods like these that improve performance of the game in the workshop. if youre playing alone i recommend (don't starve alone mod).:congratulatory:

Keep in mind, when people talk about 60+ FPS in DST, they mean 60 FPS.

This game can't run with more than 60 FPS, as all animations are a chain of images rather than being actually animated.

So even a 9800x3d + RTX 4090 would run this game at exactly 60 FPS, so don't be intimidated when people talk about their high end rigs, being able to run this game at 60 FPS.

DST mostly relies on single core performance, and is otherwise pretty lightweight, so I'd expect your System to run DST pretty well.

There's only some things like the infamous canope shadows and cluttered worlds that make your performance drop significantly in DST.

Consider trying "Dont starve alone" mod. It improved performance for me greatly.

I plan to play with friends though and with caves on, so i wanted to know if this specific spec is enough to at least 30 fps
