I would like to delete the Rock Lobster in the Void Masque and replace it with an Inthralled Corpse wearing Dark Sword and Night Armor.

The Void Masque Rock Lobster currently has a bug that was once fixed, generating new Rock Lobster colonies and ultimately leading to their uncontrollable proliferation. Even if this bug is fixed, fighting the Rock Lobster is still a frustrating experience as it has a 95% damage reduction. As for the Inthralled Corpse, I really like their design, but they are too dumb to pick up and equip armor and weapons, making Herald of Tenebrau seem less intelligent than Powder Monkey. The most terrifying thing is that Inthralled Corpse, which is possessed by the corpse of an adventurer, does not generate naturally. If not for players deliberately allowing themselves to be killed, it is even difficult to see them. It would be great to replace the Rock Lobster with them equipped with weapons. You could even add player portraits to the Inthralled Corpse. Imagine encountering other adventurers' portraits in the dark, while there are no other players on your server except for you. As you approach, you discover that he is wearing a strange mask and taking out the Dark Sword, Shadow Reaper, Shadow Maul or even Gloomerang to attack you. It can use random character images or skeletal images. If I remember correctly, the skeletal character image should be a discarded plan with complete animations from Klei. It's like you've come across a failed adventurer, suddenly that skeleton is pulled up by the Void Masque and takes out shadow weapons from a deeper dimension to attack you.

Is it just me or everyone hating rock lobster? Klei finally make rock lobster renewable and as hireable mobs, you can hire rocklobster to kill evil rock lobster. They especially strong vs nightmare werepig, shadow ickers, They are really important ally that can help you everywhere on the cave.

Were they not already renewable by the same mechanic?

So you kill the mask, but how do you get rid of all the new lobsters before the next mask brings yet more lobsters? They're great at not dying.

Rock Lobster was originally renewable, just like Beefalo and Volt Goat, they naturally generate in their own populations. However, Void Masque breaks this ecological balance. I do not want a group of Rock Lobsters to be generated in the Ruins because I passed by the catwalk, competing with me for Thulecite and Gem. I only want populations controlled by me. Even if it is the cute Beefalo, if it randomly refreshes around players and forms new populations, then litters my world with Manure, oh God, that would drive me crazy.

Back then if you kill all rocklobster in the world they wont respawn.
If you ask how, things can easily occur if one to lead nightmare werepigs go rampage vs rocklobster, and if all of them are low level, they die quite easily.

Same as bunnyman, i once have a world where someone hammered all bunnyman house to make bunnyman farm, but then they log off and never seen again, it just our luck that we have one fur roll, and one burnt bunnyman house, and that with construction staff/amulet we was able to make bunnyman appear again.

I don't really agree on making Rock Lobsters immune to void masques, maybe instead Acid Rain should make them waaay easier to kill (like taking far more damage, even while hiding) just to make culling them easier.

(They could also just remove Rock Lobsters spawning new herds from their masque-possessed corpses :P)

I do agree that Inthralled Corpses could stand to be more threatening though.

If a mob has a void masque parasite on them their AI will be replaced with the parasite mob AI, which is why you see mobs like spiders and bunnymen kite and attempt to attack the same enemy.

As a result rock lobsters don't use their shield when attacked, they behave the same way as every hosted creature except they are a lot slower and have more health. They don't have their unique damage absorption in this scenario.

While I do think it would be cool to have inthralled corpses to keep player equipment on when they die, naturally spawning corpses don't make that much sense especially not with specific shadow gear.
