Woodie official head canon expansion

Guys this is amazing, they finally gave Walter official lore about Woodie as well as added an additional story through this update though I felt my darker headcanon version was more spoopy but hey what do I know.

Apparently woodie worked for some factory? And he was cursed because he chopped too many trees. Not because his wife died in a tragic logging accident. This is phenomenal because now we know the origins of Lucy. If Lucy was a factory axe she must have a real name, maybe she is tied to the company and if so what company?
 

Because of this I will finally spend at least 30 minutes on DST this month. Maybe in the future Walter will be the Matpat of dst.

It could technically not be canon given that Walter admits he never told Woodie about it, but given the fact Walter found a log cabin in the middle of nowhere in a forest alongside a cursed radio in said cabin, I would say some of the story holds at least some weight?

i would assume walter blemish the true for his story, might not have occur like he tell it.
we are safe to assume that was woodies cabin, all evidence have always point to that, what i would like to know is if my headcannon of woodie finding lucy and that causing him to chop far too many trees is what brought his curse, woodie doesnt like burn trees, which means he a true lumberjack, a mountain man that doesnt like to waste, he even knows how to sew, so i assume thats the chronology.

what i would like to know is what lucy actually is, is she just regular cursed item or did she came from the constant? she doesnt seem to mention a thing about it.

im also glad woodie now have different "love interest" in the shadow maul, it is very funny and honestly less crazy than lucy at this point

Walter lying about someone seems out of character so I'd imagine his story is true or the information he got was flawed which seems unlikely since it's tied to lore.

It's unreliable because it's a campfire story, with the details likely distorted.

I agree that it's a possibility but I do also feel like it'd be a bad idea to introduce red herrings for a character we know so little about.

Unless they plan to do a Woodie lore drop soon.
