Side Impact Animation

The side impact animation has been changed
I am a veteran Chinese player who purchased this game in 2016 and have been playing it for nearly 3000 hours since then. I support excellent game updates, such as the production bar and sound collection. But what is the significance of this updated hit animation? Is it reasonable that the frontal and lateral impact animations are inconsistent, with the lateral impact animation being hit like a kowtow? Is it a bit disrespectful to people? I hope Klei can callback the hit animation. Thank you very much

This is the original hit animation, which is very reasonable, keeping the front and side consistent. I hope it can be recalled

i hope the word disrespectful comes from a translation error...

Otherwise it's not how a suggestion post should be made...

Anyway, don't be so dramatic, i don't like it either, but i don't think this one worsen the combat estetic like the new attack animation did, which i honestly think it was a downgrade from the original one.

This one at first felt weird, but i got used to it, and i don't even notice it anymore

that's a understandable call out

but it is legitimate to wonder why ressources are being put into changing things that do not need change

eventually dst updates will run out and klei will move on, but the time they spent on things like this is time not spent on real issues
