Sooo... what's up with this bugged pathfinding?

Classic don't starve pathfinding problem.

the mob's pathfinding causes them to walk to the exact center of the tile and then move in a straight line to the exact center of another tile. This is what happens if there is a building large enough to block the way to the center of the tile.

If you don't want the pigs on your farm to keep doing that. You can either not build the house in the center of the tile. Or build a few walls on each tile, so that the game will increase the precision of the mob pathfinding, which may allow them to bypass the house enough.
