If your answer is just "cope" "git gud" "you can't play" then you obviously didn't read the speech, maybe saw the first three words and skipped the rest. I can't help you by writing another poem, I've said enough about what there was to say. By the way, no, I'm not the only one who wants to change the worm in one way or another, but the entire community since the beginning of the beta. A beta that remained as such in the release for reasons not yet explained by Klei. You're the only one, the first person I see, who doesn't want to change it at all. Also, very horrible bad take introducing the monkey pirates, of all possible examples that you could have pulled out. That does not help at all your case man I still don't understand why the Great Deep Worm should be changed. Perhaps this threat is much more complex and dangerous than the ocean raids of monkeys, than a cyclops or a badger. But the game needed something like this. The game menu literally says "uncompromising game". Why should there be a compromise in this situation for players who cannot cope with a threat of this level. If you are sure that the Great Worm is too imbalanced - you have the right to simply not fight it, besides, its drop is almost useless. My opinion is that it is simply wonderful that the developers at least a little stopped pitying the players and returned a new real threat. I am not happy with the fact that with the appearance of each threat it is then mercilessly fixed. This does not mean that I like when I am in pain and enjoy the death of characters. I loved this game for its challenges and I am glad that finally there was something that is not easy to cope with and that will kill a new player, giving him a real survival experience. You don't really have this right if he spawns in a cave base, or when you are doing ruins, and eats up everything. You can choose not to engage but the resources will be permanently lost. Having useless drops just makes it worse. New players need trial and error to learn, if a slight mistake, or simply bad luck, leads to instant death and losing all inventory as well as all resources they grinded for a long time to get, I'd call it pure discouragement rather than a challenge, and there's definitely no fun at all. They were talking about the world setting that allows you to turn off the spawn of giant worms Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/159706-depths-of-duplicity-post-mortem-feedback/page/2/#findComment-1749025 Share on other sites
