The Gloom Bell should charge its revive each X boss kills with Beefalo

Currently, killing Fuelweaver AGAIN, killing Shadow Pieces, going to the Labirynth, killing a mimic, then getting Dreadstone, killing Pure Horror creatures for Dark Tatters and Pure Horror, just for a single revive to destroy all this work is kind of underwhelming...

 

It would be nice if the Gloom Bell recharged itself with something that is not cheap or abundant, like killing Raid Bosses using a Beef

Will only take you like 12-15 days to tame. Much better than needing to fight AFW again.

that's the point, it should be more beneficial to revive a beefalo than tame a new one

i don't wanna cheese the chess pieces, i dislike using cheese myself

The Gloom Bell gives an incentive to farm the shadow pieces occasionally, which is a nice addition, but at the same time it is nothing that you have to go overboard with assuming you are careful with your Beefalo. The current implementation feels more than alright.

Never suggested you to dont experience content. Try fighting multiple pieces per new moon, is way funnier than the default bland fight

you only need to kill 1 FW now, every chest goes through a 33% chance for becoming a mimic after every time a shadow rift spawns, so you'd need to kill FW again only after running out of ruins chests in the world

even without the saddle my beefalo literally almost never dies, I am always so careful

Some boss like the nightmare werepig and scrappy werepig and frostjaw and the new nightmare shark in the ruin they all knock you out of the beefalo and then kill your beefalo

1000 hp+planar saddle giving armor... you have plenty of time to remount your beef

maybe you shouldnt fight these bosses with a beef until you are more confortable with the fight if you are going to lose that many mounts..

Some times he knocks me out multiple time so the beefalo die at the end and i don’t think the saddle affect the beefalo if I are not riding him + I always play in my friend world together and my internet is trash so some time my beefalo die and I think the ability of reviving him is so nice to have

You cannot remount your beef afterwards, because the beef gets attacked and doesn't let you ride it until it either dies or kills its enemy.

Doesnt the new saddle have the same perk of the war saddle about allowing you to rid him?

It was changer few time ago and i think they included it to the rift one so throwing isnt a 1hit ko mechanic
