I see no need as by the time you get the elasticspacer you should have enough crockpots but I do like the crockpot design and 500 meatballs from a single crockpot and Wolfgang saying it to wigfrid I find funny.

This would be good QOL because its not fun going from one crock pot to next just to add ingredients and have to collect after. I even use a mod that will copy ingredients from previous crock pot so it is a button and it is still not enough but it does make it much easier.

Elastispacier would be a much interesting item with more different uses like OP's suggestion, maybe even ability to use 5 elastispaciers on a backpack.
