Place Holder Posted August 23, 2024 Share Posted August 23, 2024 Pillars and docks solve environmental problems just like the bridges do, but are generally more liked by the community. I think this is because docks don't break and pillars last decently long and can be repaired, while bridges are short lived and can't be repaired. So my suggestion would be to make them cheaper(8 ropes per tile, seriously?!) and add a permanent version. Maybe a stone bridge that instead of hanging from the ceiling has an arch between the two landmasses. Also Klei please make the atrium less frustrating to find if you're removing void walking. DegenerateFurry Posted August 23, 2024 Share Posted August 23, 2024 I saw a suggestion that pillars could make bridges within their area of effect not break and I think that'd be a good and easy way to make them less sucky. After all, if it's earthquakes that break them, shouldn't the thing that prevents earthquake effects prevent them from breaking?
