A few suggestions about the bridges

Recommended Posts

Pillars and docks solve environmental problems just like the bridges do, but are generally more liked by the community. I think this is because docks don't break and pillars last decently long and can be repaired, while bridges are short lived and can't be repaired. So my suggestion would be to make them cheaper(8 ropes per tile, seriously?!) and add a permanent version. Maybe a stone bridge that instead of hanging from the ceiling has an arch between the two landmasses. Also Klei please make the atrium less frustrating to find if you're removing void walking.

Have a nice day everyone! And remember this is a beta so they want your feedback on this, so there is no reason to be mad

I saw a suggestion that pillars could make bridges within their area of effect not break and I think that'd be a good and easy way to make them less sucky. After all, if it's earthquakes that break them, shouldn't the thing that prevents earthquake effects prevent them from breaking?

Makes complete sense, it's probably just something that will be included in the next patch and was just left out since they added the bridges in pretty last limit(they said so in the rhymes with play for this beta)

While I don't agree that it makes sense as the bridge breaks from the earthquake shaking the bridge not the debris that could fall from the ceiling I am fine with this being the solution.
