HowlVoid Posted August 9, 2024 Share Posted August 9, 2024 I'll make this super simple (possible ideas): Add horns to Sunken chest loot pool Add a mechanic where he can lose it without killing him (like df scales). And he can regrow them in a year/20 days idc Add them to the loot sack (weren't they alredy added in a patch? Is the wiki lying to me?) Allow AG to respawn outside of Fw kills Add to Labyrinth Chest loot pool Add a method to revive AG with or without loot chest (idc about the ruins stuff) Add conditions where AG can shed his horn Hopefully this is clear enough and my post won't be derailed again... Agree or disagree? Have a better idea? Don't belive horns should be renewable outside of fw? I'm interested to find out why. lowercase skye Posted August 9, 2024 Share Posted August 9, 2024 I think they'd fit right in with other sunken treasure loot, being a somewhat niche item that you can get creative with past its main intended use. If they were somewhere around the same rarity as getting ruins gems from treasures, I'd personally consider setting extras aside as healing food, which is a really neat thought! Doing the shadow quest line over to get another Houndious Shootious isn't worth. It wouldn't be too busted to have AG respawnable straight-up (with a 20 day cooldown like other bosses). Failing that, we might as well just add horns to sunken chests, yeah. With how long it takes to kill Fuelweaver and set up for his fight, requiring so much gear and two boss fights, it makes Ancient Guardian Horns hard to accumulate. It's goofy that it's only used to craft one thing.
