Shadow side of Wurt's skill tree needs some nerf

The shadow side of Wurt's tree has a lot of power, and basically needs very little effort,and I'll point out why.
Merms last twice as long ,this one needs not much explanation.
Shadow mudslinger can be easily obtained by beating nightmare werepig,and it simply gives an absurd dps increase.
Lunar merms are very hard to acquire compared to shadow merms,just on a resource base, they either need a lot of glass or a late game item.
For those reasons some amount of stat reduction would make sense for merms and the mudslinger power,my proposed changes are:
Reduce the hp of shadow merms 
Reduce the shadow tentacle rate of the mudslinger.
Even with these changes I would say the shadow side is quite powerful,but they wouldnt feel as imbalanced as they do right now,the nerfs I propose arent huge ofc,but they can add up

I’m not very experienced with these two choices. But I chose Lunar because glass is easier to get than pure horror in the long run. Also eventually the merm warriors get so buff that they are hard to kill except for when fighting things like Enraged Klaus.

Maybe Shadow is superior early game while Lunar is perhaps better late game? I don’t know. Maybe shadow tentacles are better than the buffs that Lunar mutated merms get.

No ,Shadow is generally just superior,you dont need anything besides the skill to get shadow merms,they are a free thing that happens when merms die.
You will only use Horror for the swampfying tool once and pre-lategame too so really they just have a big edge in vantage

how dare they make a character not entirely worthless because of his only perks being a food that's worse in comparison to a normal food, healing even though blue shrooms and jelly beans exist and teleportation that was entirely worthless back then

Nerfing a character in a rework only when the people got enticed into unlocking them is funny.

Heres a jar of a dozen pickles for 5 dollars, oh did I say a dozen I'm just gonna take a few out even tho you already payed.

I agree, it is busted.

 

I am sorry i want my character to be balanced to make them more fun, but it needs nerfed.

Wurts strength is always in numbers

The shadow tentacle thing is rather busted even if its just one Wurt and like three merms.

Why not make the lunar side like the shadow side 

They honestly do seem a bit overtuned. I don't play Wurt but I just watched Jakey's video where he kills every boss as every character and he barely even had to do anything with an army of shadow merms. I had no idea a group of allies could be that strong. He beat Armored Bearger, Crystalclops, CC, and Ancient Fuelweaver each in like 20-30 seconds. The only thing that stopped him from lawnmowing Fuelweaver was the invincibility field, he was having more trouble trying to find the shadow hands to break and didn't even try to fight off the woven shadows.

 

Everyone was screaming Willows lunar flame thrower was super OP and broken and destroying the game and causing their toilets to clog and Wurt is just killing CC in 20 seconds with an army of dudes she hired with some kelp in a bucket.

 

I need to start trying other characters besides Wilson and Willow because DAYUM that is some power. I thought Willow got a beef-up beyond all comprehension but then I saw that video...
