There are no support system in dst allow voice record and voice replay so modder if they want to do chat, they have to do it from scratch. One way i could think of is some discord API allow players to send their distance, and then the rest of the chat will be done in discord bot using distance provided by the game. You don't need to, as I was joking how socially awkward the average dst player is I remember one time after playing multiple sessions with some people in pubs, I suggested using the server's discord for voice.
