Meat powered catapults

Ever since Wilson’s rework I’ve been contemplating the synergy between alchemy and catapults. According to the wiki one gem will provide 2 days worth of charge to a single machine and nitre provides 1/2 day for equivalency of 4 nitre per gem. While gem farms are much easier than nitre farms, Wilson gives us some more options. With his alchemy perks 1 gold can become 2 nitre, or 2 gold can replace 1 gem. But! He can also turn 1 meat into 2 morsels, which can be given to pig king for 1 gold each for 2 gold total which can be turned into 4 nitre. As a result, 1 meat can replace 1 gem for catapult fuel.

Biggest con though is that, when supporting the maximum 9 catapults, each generator will need to be re-fueled with nitre every 27 seconds or so.

1. Wilson converts 2 gold into 1 nitre it is not 1 for 2. This means 1 meat gives 1 nitre if converted to morsels first.

2. If you want to fuel generators on the cheap, nightmare fuel is the way to go.

3. With Winona's generator capacity bonus maxed out, it doubles the amount of time a generator/gemerator will provide power so instead of 27 seconds you would get 54 seconds.

1. shoot, I did remember that wrong. 

2. Sweet! I haven't had a chance to play Winona after her re-work, she can use nightmare fuel for catapults now? That is much cheaper. Can other characters use her nightmare fueled machines?
