Three types of mushroom forests, three types of underground mines, and underground swamps are almost just places for providing supplies, and people have no reason to go there. They all lack truly interesting things. Klei can design on the basis of these biomes, bringing challenges and rewards to players,such as mushroom forests. Mushroom Forest: This provides a large amount of mushrooms and wood, and Toadstool are closely related to them. There are many mushroom clusters in the forest that players can pick multiple times, but if players destroy too much, the entire forest will have a common "consciousness" that prevents players from continuing their actions. The mushrooms here are no longer dormant due to changes in surface time, but change with the rhythm of the forest. Besides the basic three types of mushroom forests, perhaps we can also have yellow, purple, or even white? After all, mushrooms in nature are diverse and varied. The New Mushroom Forest has unique mushrooms unique to caves, which are full of danger, including explosive mushrooms, poisonous gas mushrooms, and so on. They can be used as areas for the later stages of the game, but cannot be entered in the early stages of the game. Toadstool will be the key to open their doors, and they will live in the mixed mushroom forest. After defeating them, they can easily pass through the forest by wearing mushroom caps. The biggest characteristic of mushrooms in DST is that their properties are opposite after cooking,various mushrooms can be endowed with different abilities, and then combined with each other to produce more unique effects. Cutting and digging, attacking or defending, walking speed, and other aspects can be taken into consideration, providing players with sufficient reasons to visit thesebiomes. I have written a thread about improving mushroom communities before, and more details can be found there. Three underground mines: with many stalagmites and cave creatures. Bat Cave: Filled with bird droppings and bat nests. there is a dunghill here that slows down player movements. Sometimes, giant bats attack players, poisoning them, but with more loot. Bats have a habit that many players are unaware of. They cross sinkholes at dusk to reach the surface, and then return to the underground during the day. Unfortunately, the bat cave biota does not have sinkholes, making it difficult for players to discover them. Here, players can make a sudden attack. Bats bring their prey home, and if players have enough strength, they can seize it and take it as their own. Rock Plain: There are many rock lobsters and similar shaped rocks. "Disguise" is the focus here, and Clay can add more disguised creatures to create illusions for players. If players catch them, they will have good profits. Rock lobsters can be used to search for rare minerals. Spider stalagmite cave: With dense stalagmites and terrifying cave spiders. Water keeps dripping down here, and stalagmites will continue to grow. It has become more difficult to extract but with more resources. Killing a Spider Spider can result in a mini speed bomb, which can be used to slow down other creatures. Since it is in a cave, the ore should be diverse, not just two types of stalagmites. There are deep mines that can be continuously excavated, and players can create machines to develop them. Perhaps we can also add crystal caves and lava caves? Their scenery must be unique. Excavating special minerals can enhance weapons and armor, giving them different functions (also known as "enchantment"). The same applies to other biomes. Also, regarding the ruins, I don't know how many times I have made suggestions, such as this thread. Even though so many forum members have responded, Klei has never paid attention. Ruins are the deepest part of caves and also the most abundant place for treasures. Players should explore this place after completing the challenges of the regular cave in the early stages. This makes the exploration of the entire cave interconnected, with each biome having its own location.
