SamLogan
Hello, This second DLC is really cool, I like the new biome mixing feature, the news creatures, plants, buildings, etc. Here's my feeling after two "200 cycles" games test, one on Vanilla, one on Spaced Out (SO mode). I've also play with the 100K challenge mod recently : 1. It's cool but not enough cold Frost management is too easy, you just need a wood heater in one or two rooms, and your Duplicant will be enough warm to work, even on others colds room or biomes. Suggestion: Starting biome should be more colder, it get warm really quickly. room or area must be warm up before be able to stay it or do something. Like in "Darkness" mod where you have to first light the zone then you can work. Freezing machines: machine can't work if it too cold. Add automation port on Wood Heater. Remove temperature minimum on build. Add options with a "Cold Difficulty Level" : "chill" (-15°C), "cool" (-35°C), "frost" (-75°C), "100K" (-145°C). New object: Wall Torch. Need wood. A consummable torch that emit light and a small amount of heat that can be place on background. Disappeared when all wood is consummed. Jaccuzi: new version. Now it's requiered wood to heat the water. The water temperature is calculated based on the quantity of wood and the burning time. No more electricity needed.Too hot water can burn Duplicant. Sauna: new version. Now it's requiered wood to heat the water into steam. The steam temperature is calculated based on the quantity of wood and the burning time. No more electricity needed.Too hot steam can burn Duplicant. Add more winter dress: hat, gloves, pants, etc. Frost Proof that gives a total immunity to cold should expose the Duplicant to a heat sensibily increased. Vacuum don't no longer deals cold damage. Early Food is too easy: Just do Pickapple (that really simple to cultivate and you will have thousand of kcal). Suggeston: need some adjustements that probably already programmed. Creatures: Why Fox are copulating more than the rabbit? Suggestions: their wood should have a condition to growth.Same for the Bammoth. Bammoth give whool. Foxes can transmit rabies to the Duplicant, under certain conditions they can bite them. Bammoths can charge Duplicant and hurt them when there are on mating season. Bammoth eat more Plume Squash. Spigot Seal become agressive if it doesn't expose to light. New building: Snow Gun. Throws snow around the machine. Need Oxygen + Water to create Snow. Tigin
Quote Early Food is too easy: Just do Pickapple (that really simple to cultivate and you will have thousand of kcal). This is the same as just saying "Just do Mealwood". My dupes unfortunately have high standards and dislike prickly or wiggly things Quote their wood should have a condition to growth.Same for the Bammoth. Both floxes and bammoths only grow their scales after eating, so glum floxes effectively have 3.33% scale growth/cycle and glum bammoths have 2% scale growth/cycle. You're welcome to glum ranch but it's only barely more effective for floxes as they start at 50% growth (and not any at all for bammoths) Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/157608-some-suggestions-to-improve-the-dlc-spoilers/#findComment-1729858 Share on other sites
