Another Webber Skill Tree Thread

Now that we have a pretty good idea on how wild some of these skill trees can get, I think it would be fun to throw out my ideas.

 

SPIDER tree:

This tree leans more on the instinctual spider half of Webber.

• Warrior's Lunge: Allows Webber to make a jumping attack at an enemy, flying over small barriers and other mobs to hit them for extra damage.
• Sharper Fangs (I-II): Tamed spiders do more damage. Two tiers.
• Thicker Fur (I-II): Tamed spiders have more health. two tiers.
• Extra Treats (I-III): More spiders are tamed at the same time. Three tiers.
• Home Turf(I-II): Webber moves even faster on webs. Two Tiers

HUMAN tree:

This tree is about the smarter human side of Webber.

• Silk Bomb: Lets Webber craft a throwable item that will explode on impact, creating a large area of webbed turf wherever it lands, while also temporarily binding non allied mobs. [remember, Webber moves faster on webbed turf]
• Hurry Horn: A loud horn that allows Webber to direct his tamed spiders to focus on one single target from a distance. [easy spider wars and army control]
• Trapper Tent: A craftable "den" that does not make its own spiders, but will allow inserted spiders to hunt for nearby rabbits and birds and catch them. Prey are brought back to the den to be collected, strider's can collect fish. [Maybe costs monster meat? dunno]
• Royal Bait: Lets Webber craft a special treat that can be used on a tier three den. Will cause the den to immediately upgrade into a spider queen. [ez nurse spiders, no touchstone required]
• Silk Growth (I-III): Makes Webber's silk beard grow faster. Three tiers.

SHADOW tree:

• Darker Doodle: Lets Webber craft a darkerdoodle, a switcherdoodle that turns the spider into a shadow aligned spider with planar damage. (has the stats of a warrior spider)
• Royal Decree: Lets you craft a spider queen saddle and ride spider queens. the queen and the spiders around it gain shadow planar defense.

LUNAR tree:

• Mooner Doodle: Lets Webber craft a moonerdoodle, a switcherdoodle that turns the spider into a lunar aligned spider with planar damage. (has the stats of a warrior spider)
• Undying Loyalty: When tamed spider are killed in battle, they will revive after a while as a lunar mutated spider. (has the stats of a normal spider, lunar aligned)

 

And that's all I can bother to think of, any ideas or suggestions are welcome. Criticism is tolerated at best, whatever, its 6:40 am I don't care.

 

Could also have a perk that lets you eat the switcherdoodles to temporarily gain a buff depending on the spider. Buts its way too early in the day to figure that out.

Most of these are just spider buffs, but I would love to hear any suggestions for more Webber specific perks.

Maybe change the alignments to this:

 

Spider:

 

shadow speciater :

 

The Queen will reward your loyalty with sympatric speciation sharing your power with your fallen feral friends 

 

upon death a befriended spider will molt into a shadow spider, they’re venomous and over a period of days there shell will harden they will grow stronger with it (7 max) bit  enemies  will  drop pure horror, can attack nightmare creatures and Gestalts

you can keep  cool 20% longer in summer

 

Lunar speciater : 

 

The Cryptic founder will reward your curiosity with sympatric speciation triggering your adaptations in your fallen feral friends 

 

upon death a befriended spider will molt into a mutated spider,they're venomous and over a period of days there shell will harden they will grow stronger with it (7 max) bit  enemies  will  drop pure brilliance, can attack nightmare creatures and Gestalts 

you can keep  warm 20% longer in winter 

 

Human:

 

shadow farmer:

The Queen will reward your loyalty with the terror-ific work made bond of kindred spirits

 

The reaper(shadow reaper) has more range and durability when in Webber’s hand, protection from warmer seasons

 

lunar farmer:

The Cryptic founder will reward your curiosity with the know-how to be more accommodating to plants

 

The shoevel(Brightshade Uprooter name change from @WhackE)  has more Spacing and durability when in Webber’s hand, protection from colder seasons

He needs a web-slinging ability. It would probably stun or severely slow a single target.

He could also have something similar to the Overcoming Arachnophobia web, though reusing something is kind of boring.

Maybe a grapple of some kind? like you can sling a web at a mob, and if its small then it gets dragged towards Webber, but if its big then Webber gets dragged towards it.

I think the being able to ride the spider queen shouldn't be only for shadow aligned players, it should be unlockable for everyone that wants it, like in a (spider queen tree) The taming thing could be called the the (queen decorating kit) and it work like a beefalo bell but for spider queen, and the the saddle recipe is in the same branch but is unlocked after getting the taming item recipe,

And the in the alignment trees,

Lunar tree,

there could be a (royal lunar switcherdoodle) to make the queen become lunar aligned.

And In the,

Shadow tree,

There could be a (royal shadow switcherdoodle) to make the spider queen shadow aligned.

And the nurse spider they make still give the same healing buff but also gives a deffence of the alignment that the spider queen is buff and a more damage to the  creatures of the apposite of the spider queens alignment buff to all the friendly spider that are within the radius of the healing

And the the other aliment stuff can give webber a deffence against the alignment they chose and more damage to the apposite alignment of the chosen one.

And also alignment could give him silk armor variants of the brightshade armorin the lunar tree and the void robe in the shadow tree, that when hit with a melee attack the attacker gets slowed and take more damage from the weapon that is the same alignment as the alignment of the armor peace.
