Mental fluidity is still kind of underwhelming

The ability can be replaced by holding a fish... but it gatekeeps the rest of the amphibian branch.

It could be condensed into 1 skill, since the rest of the tree is already rather costly.

Or it could be replaced by something... (I doubt wurt swimming will be added at this point, but i think it would be a fine capstone to the amphibian branch.)

 

Other than this skill, i think you guys did a great job on making the existing skills good! Even the mosquitoes!

I think it wouldn't be too crazy to condence it and just add like, an ability to interact with a pond to make yourself wet. It incentivizes to base near/in swamps even further to get free wetness, makes you regularly go near mosquito ponds, and just gives an easy way to fill up your wetness while also limiting it so you cant just do it for free anywhere. 

I am definitely still holding out hope for fishermerms, but if Klei just really wants to keep sanity regen - I suggest replacing them with a skill that buffs the sanity regen you get for holding a fish, and then adding a perk that makes your held fish regain freshness while you are wet. That achieves a similar goal but ties better into her existing perks.

Fishermerms could be recycled from SW with a different color?

For balancing they could accept food to recieve the fish (The merm would not be tameable).
