Can Wormwood catch bees and butterflies with her bare hands?

Recommended Posts

With the Bee Kind skill, Wormwood can catch bee butterflies by spending a small amount of bloom value while in bloom.

The current Bee Kind skill has not been very useful, with the arrival of Wurt's mosquito catching ability, we hope to add this feature.

You would not believe how much we asked for this when the first iteration of the butterfly perk came out.

Even to this day it was/is the most insulting skill they could add to any character. Is it cute? Maybe. But no other character reached this level of a bad skill. It sounds like overreacting or trying to push for some meta but if you have deep knowledge of the character it is completely bewildering why it was ever added. Wormwood can't heal from butterflies, wormwood doesn't need the sanity nor food.

There was a dev comment that some characters need "beginner level" skills but this it was far from appropriate for the character that can grow crops everywhere they please.

I won't ask for more Wormwood changes as I'm happy with what we have; and luckily we can get better skills than bee kind. But to see it come back makes me feel a certain way . I mean would it facilitate getting stingers (especially with bee kind making it harder to exploit wild hives)? Or plating flowers?

Yeah, but murder is always the easiest option.

In the end, I'm happy for wurt though.

I mean to be completely fair I've seen beginners chase down butterflies for ages because they wanted food so this is a skill that could theoretically be helpful for beginners... but on the other hand Wormwood is a dlc character...
