Creatorofswamps Posted June 13, 2024 Share Posted June 13, 2024 When the king of mermes is attacked, the force field from Thulecite Crown is not changed on him, and in general he will not receive protection from the armor he wears, unlike other creatures and mermes. Under the hood it probably just sets a flag on him or something. Edit: Yeah, it just gets added to his inventory and a flag is set on a special world component. He doesn't equip it or anything. That's probably for the best considering otherwise it could end up breaking. That being said imagine a person who doesn't know about Wurt killing him only to get a fish, frog legs, rot, a thulecite crown, a marble suit, and a strident trident as drops. That would be so funny to see their reaction. Maybe sometimes, when he's being beaten, add a force field to him to create the illusion that he's using armor?
