The Monkey Queen's right of passage is a bit unintuitive

It's not really communicated to the player when it activates and it's a bit unintuitive, requiring a banana trade while having at least one cursed trinket (you don't need to have transformed into Wonkey).

Wouldn't it be nice if you were able to bribe her at any point, without having to kill pirate monkeys first?

I’m pretty sure you don’t need trinkets to give her bananas. It’s how you get all the blueprints.

It would be nice if all the “hidden” mechanics were at least telegraphed in some way. Hopefully we see some changes in the future that cause the game to be less wiki-reliant.

If you don't have trinkets, you get the blueprints, yeah, but the right of passage is a separate effect where monkeys won't steal from players for half a day.

It's only granted on trading with the monkey queen while having cursed trinkets (so no blueprints, but you remove cursed trinkets), which is a bit weird and unintuitive.
