wurt skill tree is so good!!!!! (clueless)

So wurt skill tree is something huh. i'd like to say som about It

 

Anphibian part

This part of it confuses me a bit.

The First 2 skills are for sanity witch while they are quite Nice i dont get why, i mean wurt dosent particulaly strugle with sanity.

The 3rd skill is Just amazing tô be honest i always wished that she had this.

Now The regen and extra health are interesting, im not sure How much you can tank with Full wetness but It could bê Very Nice If you could easily get consistent high wetness early game, and The regem is Just plain Nice that is. if its a noticible amount.

 

Mosquitos part

Id say this is easily The worst part of her skill tree.

I mean The cuddly buddy is Just a 1 dimensional item with a bad purpose. Sure making mosquitos not agro is cool and all but its worthless not have i ever tough "Man It sure would bê Nice If i could craft a item that goes bad, to make The weakest enemy of The game not bite me" so id say tô give It something extra. like auto tame mosquitos that you come across (with a limit of course).

The other itens are.. méh i Just dont see a reason to use them like ever, skeeter bomb is too expesive for What It does. The fertlizzzer is Just worst compost wrap so there's that. And bloodshot is not Very convinient to use cuz merms like to Go all over The place.

 

King stuff

I Love This idea Hoooly. Got nothing tô bitch about here just love it.

altough king hunger is weird to me why not make the 3rd skill the first, cuz right now i dont think i will ever waist 3 points to get 1 good perk.

 

new buildings

Well this is the most disapoiting part for me atleast.

The kelp dish thing is cool but not really needed and an upgrade? that's overkill. merms respawn quite fast already, a merm guard respawns in a single day! ( that is if it's not winter )

Tool shed is a aight could be more than an axe tho. maybe instead of having a upgraded version we could have another tool like a spear for fishing or a hoe . sure as hell could be easily broken. But hey max exists!

Armeary is very good no complains here.

 

sensible & pathfinder

maybe make pathfinder also show tentacles. then id sure chose it when i play with friends

while sensible is nice. i'd like to se some mechanics like webber has. webby whistle is the single best thing to come of webber rework. and a merm version sure would be nice

 

Affinity

the best part of the skilltree I LOVE IT SO MUCH

while sensible is nice.

Isn't it weird that to stop merms from going all over the place, you'll need to spend an extra perk point just so they'll allow you to heal them with the bloodshot, but you can only heal them one at a time and sensible only works for merm guards so your craftmerms are still running away from you as you chase them down..

When Klei said they'll give merms better AI so they'll stop so you can heal them in the Rhymes with Play stream, they made it sound like it'll be a mechanic merms will do naturally for Wurt and there will be some indicator to show them in need of healing. Who would've thought they meant to spend points on three skills then another point on a separate skill just so you can use it on one type of merm(inefficiently) and nothing else, when they could've just either made it built into Wurt naturally or combined it with the Tier 3 of the Itchcraft tree while opening that slot for something else like swimming..

I get the idea of the mosquito crafts they are a cheaper easy to access sidegrade if you are in the swamp. Its 1 poop to the 5 it takes for a compost wrap and if nothing else the bloodshot is a really cheap healing salve that can be boosted at level 2. The the bombs give enemies extra things to attack that aren't your merms which helps them survive longer (though they should probably be treated as companions so they stick to targets a little better).

The compost wrap is multi purpose though while also being better and even then Wormwood the character full of farming perks often doesn't bother making it. Klei was smart though in a sense because bundling it with multiple other crafts makes it far easier to digest as a skill I kind of wish they did something similar with skills like the feeder and pathfinder because bundling lackluster effects into a single skill point is a great idea.

In it's current state it ends up backfiring because it not only does the bomb inflict friendly fire but the mosquitos treat your merms as viable attack targets.

Tô finish what i started I Will say that. With This update o think klei aimed to make merms less of an army and more of a "squad". It seens to me they pushed that tipe of playstile. Giving upgrades tô guards, being able to heal them, making them respawn faster and mosquitos to maybe take agro (skill dont know what mosquitos do).

I agree this is something that probably should be looked at. Also maybe shooting the heal like a dart while still being able to apply it to yourself like normal.
