Spotlight improvements/skills ideas

Recommended Posts

Spotlights don't have much going on, only a brighter radius and heat. Here are skill/base kit improvements i thought of ages a go i would like to share.

  • Ability to give a spotlight multiple heads, allowing it to shine light on multiple targets at once. 3 max?
  • Being able to switch spotlight "modes" (works like changing sleep mode):
    •  Default: Tracks players. Will also now track followers, but prioritises players.
    • Seeker: Tracks other non-follower prominant creatures (ignores birds and butterflies, ect)
    • Alerter: Tracks hostile mobs.
    • Warner: Tracks mobs that are aggressive towards a player or follower.
  • Ability to use the remote to make spotlights shine in a specific location.
  • Flash ability: Use the remote to make all spotlights to flash their lights in a choosen spot, scaring mobs and causing fear
  • Wigfrid will gain some inspiration over time while under a spotlight.

I actually expected more from the remote as they said in the stream that it would maybe work on all winona stuff, not just catapults :S it would be great to place the spotlight light in a fixed spot

It can put them in sleepmode but nothing else currently.

I had another thread where I suggested stuff like a heat spotlight (already in game), a coolant spotlight, a sunlight spotlight, and a spotlight you can control on a ship while steering.

Interesting enough those first three lights each correspond to a gem (red, blue, yellow). Maybe they could have a whole array of spotlights for each gem.

What if you could use the remote on one of her building types to "tune" it, making it work with that specific type of machine(so you use a remote on a spotlight to use it to control spotlights, then use it on a catapult to use for catapults again, or craft several of them for each purpose)

This way you could give each machine its own set of options on the remote, without cluttering or interfering with its catapult functions.
