The Teletransport Station does not feel it lives up to its name or theming

Winonas new Teletransport Station is evidently themed around being a structure to help teleport items. With the name sake, the crafting description: "When it comes to transporting items, this machine really delivers!", and the quotes/examinations.

And, well, it does do that! When using the Portasol items near you are teleported to the nearest Teletransport Station.

...but it also teleports you the player and... that kind of makes the whole thing pointless regarding to the theming for me personally.

For a long while I've been really wanting a teleport niche to be filled for teleporting items specifically, Maxwell kind of does this only in multiplayer play though. Wanda's time rift was supposed to act like a wormhole in that you could give it items but it was unfortunately not implemented due to technical reason for transporting items across shards, so I was really excited for this!

But for me it falls apart due to it teleporting the player themselves, I'd like to just be able to send items back without having to send myself! The one use case I see is if you have more items than you can hold then it becomes useful but I think that's just too narrow of a scenario for the telipad to be useful.

Another thing, despite DST worlds being much bigger than DS worlds, the range to teleport to a telipad was more than halved from the original implementation, from a range of 540 units to 200 units, so even for the purposes of just being another teleport method for the player it comes off really bad! This is in contrast with the opposite alignment where Charlie's rose glasses allow you to pick any wormhole on the world to go to from any other wormhole.

I saw a friend bounce around the idea of having a different mode for the telebrella to teleport only items, that would be lovely! In a dream scenario I'd love to see it tinkered out to work across shards too but I will take a MUCH larger range to what it is now. Thanks!
