Merms op in combat

Merms were already strong before, but now they can dodge attacks, have easy armour, free ressurecrions, along with tons of stuff.

However, before they were kinda boring but these things are interesting.

 

I feel like they need some kind of nerf to compensate since they feel way too strong to enjoy using. The post riff stuff is alright since it is for post riff.

I had 5 merm guards and 5 regular merms solo ancient guardian with no input from me for example.

I did not use the marble armour thing either since it crashed me. The merms also bugged sometimes and froze.

I don't think ancient guardian is a good representation of a strong boss since webbers depth dwellers can solo him

20 normal merm guards can kill bee queen with no inputs I wouldn't be surprised if your setup could kill ancient guardian without any perks

Nerfing merms in order to sell their  power back is a very bad idea which will lead to a huge uproar and honestly klei really backed themselves into a corner with how they choose to go about Wurt's skill tree. Half the tree is just designed to power up merms but merms are already quite powerful against content below the boss level which means unless these skills allow her to further trivialize boss monsters there's actually no point in their existence and they can't be weak buffs because again the consist of half the tree.

Honestly true, nerfing merms is possibly the worst idea they could impliment, sorry to say.

They really should have focused on Merm utility, and stayed away from combat.
