Seed packet should stop seed spoilage all together

Most tedious food source and that's coming from a man with 100 merms for easy seeds. I'd say most people would just grow the food rather than eat the seeds so I don't think it should stop at being stale.

Stopping at stale only is weird and dont do anything.

 

Also its meant to be infinite seed storage. They already lasy 80 days in an ice box, so making it last forever will only impact mega lategame players in multiplayer who play on dedicated servers.

I think this is an amazing suggestion. I'm someone who isn't a fan of farming even as Wurt, and the fact that I have to either waste bundles, loose all the progress in collecting seeds, or farm regularly instead of when I choose to is not doing farms any favors.

Honestly, I'm just being perfectionist and filling in the details to make your suggestion work.

I don't see why would you be against it. I think it's such a good suggestion.

I'm designing game mechanics, isn't that also important? And my suggestion doesn't affect your suggestions anyways.

Didn't he explained tho? Because It's a new mechanic not yet implemented anywhere. No other creature or item stops spoiling at a % and it's weird to code something so specific without a good reason. And there is no reason for them to go stale, seeds aren't a good food source even if they were to last forever. 

Good suggestions are to stop spoilage all together, or reduce spoilage rate even further. 

Or, you know where this mechanic would actually be good? Bearger bin. 

Bearger bin has an issue in late game with the fact that warly foods still end up spoiled eventually. For exsample I cooked a stack of volt goat jelly with fresh honey, but ended up wrapping them after consuming only 20% because they are about to rot. You can use powcake for spices but fthat feels like waste of time and i'd rather spice food that actually gives me stats. Point is, if bearger bin would stop food from turning into rot at 1% that would mean I don't have to craft ropes and carry bundles which is inconvenient. 

This would be a welcome change. I dont think it would powercreep anything to buff the seed backpack that people barely use. 

I would legitimately make one every playthrough if i could just dump my crop seeds into it and not worry about losing them.
