A new craftable item made with palm cone scales and a spear.

If you time your right click right, you can reflect cannon balls and other projectiles back to the one who sent it.

 

I just thought it sounded funny.

With all the ocean content right now that sounds very good, but I will also add the possibility to BONK other creatures around the size of a character to put them asleep for a few seconds.

I think it will be very good at defeating the new pirate raid varient, as well as crab king.

 

Also an actual way to counter sea weed attacks.

Adding parries to games is ALWAYS a good idea I genuinely cannot think of a single poorly implemented parry mechanic in any game ever

I do like the idea of a baseball bat that can reflect projectiles if you time it correctly.

Technically speaking, DST already has a parry with Wigfrid's Battle Rond, but that's locked to one character and only to one weapon of said character.

A baseball bat as a weapon could be funny, I guess? Especially if it had a unique interaction with cannonballs, and on the rest of the time was just a worse spear. It could be a nice extra option one would be able to bring to Crab King's fight.
