This should be reworked so that he gives unique rewards depending on the ocean fish PLUS gold. And other reworks. Maybe he could have a menu similar to pearl so you can gouge the ammount of fish. He can give seeds, but the seeds he gives are kinda dumb. Like, why not dragon fruit seeds instead of EGGPLANTS? Why not more ocean themed rewards? What if giving the merm king a special, RARE fish would make him toss a treasure chest toward your direction? Why not cookie cutter shells? Would make the pearl home construction a bit easier. (This should be a base kit rework, not part of the skilltree). This would give a good sense of progression.
