Ancient boat. A bit underwhelming to me. New boat should be better at sailing and steering

I think the ancient boat should have any nautical structure built on it become more efficient.

e.g. faster sails, more agile steering, less time for anchors to brake and faster reeling. Otherwise, the old boats are far more customizable. It looks so much better for there to be an inbuilt storage system on the new boat. Looks great. the boat is prettier, no doubt, but in my experience, it's always been better to have multiple boats than just rely on the one. 

If relying on multiple boats stays the norm, then what the new boat has to offer simply isn't worth effort. Having increase in performance honestly might incentivise you to stay on the ocean
