I'm curious about this item.

It's very cheap to build. And using skill points to unlock this is pretty easy.

Wortox teleports easily and can pull other players with The Lazy Deserter (but you have to wait until the first summer, of course).

Teleportation with Frostjaw is easy too, limited to the ocean, but it's the part where you need to teleport the most.

Wanda is certainly the worst, as it requires complicated resources like walrus tusks, thulecite fragments and, worst of all, purple gems to teleport other players.

I want to see how Klei will implement this item. If it will be as easy to do as it seems at the moment. The effective use of it in the game. And if other characters will be able to freely use it without needing a Winona on the map (I hope not).

why is using lazy deserter an option as wortox but not as wanda?

it definitely seems interesting, i hope we can choose a destination, and itd be nice to have an item to "recall" ourselves without a telepad.

 

also i doubt the prices are finalized, its pre-beta, everything is subject to change

Wanda can use it like any other character that gets to the point, but there is a clear advantage for Wortox.

He can, at any time, go to any location on the map without being tied to a clock that is limited by one point and expensive to make (we are talking about several clocks and not just one).

Wortox eliminates some bees and can go everywhere in the first summer and take everyone. How many teleportation watches does Wanda have in the first summer?

Furthermore, you are just stating how useless the clock that transports other players (purple gems) is. You just reinforce what I say. Thanks!

There is already a hidden teleportation machine in the game that was never made available. I think it will be more or less like this machine.

Only portal that wasn't made available that i can think of is the friendportal you interact with it and it takes you to the caves right now i think

It automatically links itself between shards, works basically identically to cave entrances and stairs

As it currently does it just brings you to other shards.

But this wasn't its intended purpose! It was a structure meant to take you to and back from other servers entirely. Kinda like how in Terraria due to character/world saves being seperate, you can go to other folks worlds with a character.

Obviously, DST never went in this direction and so it went unimplemented.

sounds fun but kinda annoying for a pub starting out *dude comes in from his world, drops 5 green amulets and 5 green staffs and 10 thulecite crowns that he definitely didnt cheat in*

what about the purple staff and its teleporter focus? is that not like the same thing?
