melquiades
If you set any amount not a multiple of the full packet weight in a conveyor meter, the last bit sent will be the remaining of the full packet. Sometimes even less. For the un-modded game: 6 - 2 kg 3 - 2 kg 8 - 4 kg I just made a regolith smelter and i find it very annoying that i cannot fine tune the amount of regolith i can feed the system (this example is from a increased packet size, packet capped to 200 kg, meter set to 80 kg, and it is dumping 80 and 40 kg. 100 kg is too much and it clogs): Oxygen Not Included 2024-04-13 12-15-40.mp4 I am guessing that is because solid materials don't merge inside the rails as they do in liquid pipes, but still, meters maybe should an internal storage to deal with this. Tigin
It doesn't seem like a bug. This is akin to a "minimum flow rate" on valves (where the minimum is equal to the maximum flow rate). It's simpler with gases/liquids since packets can merge, but it can still be done with solids by adding an overflow to the meter into a conveyer chute/receptable and re-merging the regolith with a loader.
