Here's my suggestion: In the Forbidden knowledge trailer, we see how there are Creature(In this case deerclops) fossiles on top of the caves, Why not add fossile fragments to post rift earthquake loot pool? Just like the Merm/pig skeletons, I think this change would make world feel a lot more alive. (Also, If I remember correctly, Boulders drop because of the damage caused by acid rain and miasma so it makes sense.)
