Pandapanda80 Posted February 25, 2024 Share Posted February 25, 2024 I suggest to change the range for making the player cold should be more similar to a scaled furnace and outside of that should just prevent wildfires. This would make them a go to item for mega basing to prevent wildfires and expand past the oasis. Much like eternal lights late game, being free from your base burning would be perfect for the players who actually play long term worlds. As it is right now the ice crystaleyezer makes the character way too cold, even with a sunfish or hot thermal stone it makes it annoying to be around. Its use as a winter farming zone is not very helpful and usually when the player can get this item they already have better farms for everything that it can help with. At this point the item is more of a novelty them something worth farming resources for. Maybe if it could only prevent wildifres, it would be a good item to put in your base. Having to wear winter gear while in your base and trading it to summer gear if you want to get out of your base seems pretty bad.
