However, I hope there is still potential to learn. Are You aware of any video with ADVANCED tips and tricks? I see dozens and dozens of videos for beginners but they are not targeted for advanced players. On the other hand, when video is touching advanced topic, then it is limited to only one design / one aspect of the game and video is usually about 20-30 mins long (it is well explained but too long). I'd love to see like 1h compilation where I can explore wide variety of advanced tips and tricks. Have anyone of You found something useful? If so, please, share, recommend. Thank You! Gurgel Posted February 10, 2024 Share Posted February 10, 2024 I think you will not get that. Making videos is a lot of work and for it to pay off, it needs to find a rather large audience. Advanced stuff is not mentally accessible for most people, so that is not the way to get a large audience. I would recommend asking here instead for any specific topic that interests you. Activity is not as high as it used to be, but there are still a lot of people with good ideas here. blakemw Posted February 11, 2024 Share Posted February 11, 2024 I can heartily recommend "Tony Advanced" on YouTube, the videos are 4 years old now, and a few have become obsolete. But they are very good. Also worth mentioning is Gamers Handbook, again the ONI videos are about 4 years old but they're rather good. Both channels provide relatively concise videos covering relatively advanced concepts. For everything else, the same meta ought to be still the same. I'm on the same boat, per se. I'm currently playing a new colony I started a few days ago, albeit a bit slow. I haven't played in about a year. I'll find out if my old tricks, exploits, and devices still work.
