You could make Wet Water World - more/lots of rain + spring + lighting, less summer, small world, ocean content on more, moleworms/cave worms/rabbits on more (due to drilling holes) not including bunny-men, less day, all food on less, more frogs/frog rain, less pine trees, more birchnuts, less snail/slugs (due to salty water), more earthquakes, more birds/bats, bees/killer bees on less, less beefalo

I’m not gonna lie in the same way Klei added a “Relaxed Mode” I’d love to see a harder mode added to the game, or better yet, an actual RogueLite Adventure Mode.

See we currently have a newly added to the game setting where you can force your game world to delete itself immediately upon your dying (just like classic solo DS!) however… the rest of the game does not scale itself to even remotely make this an actual fair & fun way to play the game.

If Death is Permanent then maybe mobs, bosses and the damage they deal could be lowered yeah?

Instead that’s not what we have… what we have is a promising new toggle option, but gameplay doesn’t adjust itself for that.

Ive been wanting to talk some things over with the community and with Klei to make each of the games mode choices further unique from one another.

For example for something labeled as Wilderness- it should have more Spider Dens overtaking the world, just small stuff like that.. that gives each mode it’s own unique gameplay and identity.

Lights Out mode should probably ban the use of certain features that make the mode redundant- Such as the Ticket Booths that light up from the MidSummers Cawnival Event.

It needs to extend BEYOND just if you don’t like it, don’t use it but the option to use it is still there…
