DF isn't popular with massed because "boring". It's hard, especially if no walls deployed and dealing with Lavae manually. If anything, DF should scale with number of players and be substantially easier to tackle in solo play - but I'll give you that, since objectively is valid: when number of players goes beyond 3-4 in DF fight, dragon should scale up over her current HP pool and number of spawned Lavaes. And regarding those fire bugs: they should "benefit" from hp nerfs too - 1/2 rule. Yes, there are players tackling DF very well in current format - but here's the thing: they are the exceptions not general rule. Pick average or even moderately experienced pub goer and stuff them full of armor and healing and drop them into DF arena WITH walled Lavae and see them fail spectacularly. Have Lavaes free and marvel at the tragic comedy unfolding. Pls stop exaggerating, DF isnt "ez pz, people do it no worry, lacks uncompromising" when is one of the bosses trashing vast majority of players, no 2 ways about it. Don't believe this? Play more pubs, community-hosted server even.

I think dragonfly is fine for how bad ice staves are for horde enemies, more suited for solo fights than anything. While I'd love a Misery similar variant to it I just don't see what it could give more of what it doesn't already. The loot she gives all around is fairly useful for storage and fireproofing, other than that it's only a scaled furnace. Unless us getting an incineration option for items in the scaled furnace like some mods has but I wouldn't see how it would have to do with killing the boss in a harder state. 

Dragonfly is simple enough to test your kiting or your bandwight if in pubs to see if you can deal with her. If our magic items weren't terrible for these encounters maybe I'd want something like so. But Klei won't upgrade old items unless they really need to be or are for the rift content.

i totally understand your point, but i remember that even when i was very new to the game i just tanked the entire fight with marble suits and football helmets, without requiring major skills.

I think everyone who plays dst searches almost everything on the wiki.

If you don't know about wall strat you are not even going to survive in the early days, but that's just my opinion.
