Scrapbook in the Compendium

The Scrapbook can be very handy for looking up info while in the game but it would be nice to be able to look into the Scrapbook without having to be in a world, similar to the Cookbook and Plant Registry. Can be a good way to spend time while waiting for a friend to start up their server. I think this can also be beneficial to the less experienced, allowing them to look up all the info they've found before entering a world.

It always felt weird to me that all the information based pages in DST are available through the compendium, but the Scrapbook is only accessible in a server. Especially when you consider that you access it through the menu (which is usually reserved for game and server settings) when other information pages are accessed through their own item (Cookbook and Gardeneer hat).

Feels like the compendium is the perfect place for a page like the Scrapbook.

Until Klei gets around to adding access to it there you can just do what I do and pause the game and look at the scrapbook without the game world continuing around you.

I know it’s not the solution you’d hope for, but at least your not starving, cold and getting eaten by dogs while trying to review the things you’ve discovered.

Weirdest part of this to me is that the image in the 2023 roadmap that was hinting at the Scrapbook was called 'wilson_compendium.png'

maybe they just gave that name because, lorewise, is wilso who is writing it like was wilson who created the science station despite being avaraible for any character

 

skill trees should also be accessible from the compendium (and pls, add the option to unselect individual skills... is annoying to reset the entire tree...)
