tuxii
I would love to be able to launch a probe to a planetoid to be able to see the surface and perhaps a little bit deeper below. Other than that that the probe can't do anything like digging or building, perhaps the player could order it to move for a short battery life. It's just annoying that currently the only option to see the surface of a planetoid is to spot it with a telescope and orbit it with a rocket. You only get to see a few tiles deep unless you land a dupe or a rover on it. Probes could be launched from either a rocket-mounted launcher (at range of course) and/or a planetoid-based launcher building. (hopefully not requiring radbolts since it's just probes)
pether
Isn't rover like a probe?
